Portrait painter; Boston, Mass. Browne studied at the Massachusetts Normal Art School, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School, and with Frank Benson and Joseph De Camp. She began her career as a portrait painter in 1910, was the art editor for the BOSTON EVENING TRANSCRIPT from 1919-1920, and was a member of the Grand Central Galleries, New York.
